Did you know Indy has an “Inclusion Ecosystem?” Indy corporate leaders promised to pay workers $18 an hour back in 2018. In doing so they were praised as good wage employers and received millions in city incentives, but they excluded low wage service workers. It’s about 7 years later and that $18 an hour would be $23 an hour in 2025. And yet, some service workers at Indy “good wage” employers are still making a measly $13.65 an hour.
