In 2022, Staten Island working class residents did the unthinkable – they unionized an Amazon facility. Join Central IN DSA’s Fully Funded, Fully Public campaign for a screening of UNION, the story of that fight, along with a panel on union power in Indianapolis. Gather with current and aspiring union members to learn how unions can improve your life and connect you to the local fight.

Today, in 2025, the importance of organized labor and union power is apparent under Republicans and an employer-first legal system. Just over a month ago, at the climax of Central IN DSA’s fight to save public schools, IEA, the local teacher union successfully orchestrated a sick-out allowing thousands of teachers to attend a Red for Ed protest in April at the statehouse. Without the power of organized labor, teachers would not have been able to speak up in defense of their profession or quality education for our children. Gather with current and aspiring union members to learn how unions can improve your life and connect you to the local fight!
