The Central Indiana DSA Political Education Committee seeks to create socialists who are able to participate in socialist discourses both within the organization and with the general public by using knowledge of important and lesser-known socialist texts (defined not just as the written word but media broadly) within their appropriate contexts. These educated socialists will also be able to use the knowledge and information acquired to develop, refine, strengthen, and spread the socialist movement in order to interrupt and eventually topple capitalism.

The Political Education team offers a monthly Socialist Sunday School on the first Sunday of every month and other events when the opportunity arises.
