This is an event for CINDSA members who are interested in doing outreach to elected officials and candidates for office, so that they can get to know us, and we can get to know them. Forming relationships with elected officials and candidates for office is just the first step of many to building political power.

At this training, we will be learning and/or brushing up on our organizing skills: how to tell your story, ask good questions and listen well, connect over shared goals and values, and move into action.

And we won’t just leave it there. Attendees will be expected to participate in at least two organizing conversations with elected officials/candidates for office on behalf of CINDSA. But don’t worry! You won’t be on your own. That is why we have these trainings, our electoral committee action group, and buddies to team up with.
